-Rules-
On OOC Chatting-
Cursing towards one another will not be tolerated!
Polite and kind behavior is required- debate is allowed, but will be removed if it dissolves into argument.
On Grammar and Spelling-
When roleplaying, two to three sentences is the bare minimum, with proper grammar and spelling. Everyone makes mistakes, but no chat speak is permitted. Descriptive responses are also strongly encouraged.
Example: Rodger took a deep breath, moving slowly across the stone bridge. It towered above most of the town, giving him a view of everything. The entire world, and not a thing in the world he had to do. The air felt thick, in the summer day, the heat was nearly smothering. Perhaps he would take the mule out, or perhaps he would just go visit the ice hut by the lake. Most of it was melted, but there was always some cool water.

Getting Started-
Before you begin, you must post your character in the submission forum, and wait for an Admin or Moderator to approve it. After that, you may join your roleplay of choice.
What Not to Do-
On Ultra-Powerful Characters-
Over Powering and or God-Modding-
Over-Powering or God-Modding is a problem that ruins roleplays, and drives away members. It's more or less how it sounds, over-powering and god-modding is when you give your character or an item that has too much power and cannot be defeated. It is also considered to be over powered or god-modding if you kill off someone else's character without their consent, not to mention rude.
-Meta-gaming and Mixing Being In and Out of Character
Meta-gaming is when you say something out of character, and your character or another character reacts to it. An example of this would be to tell someone a piece of information out of character, and their character reacts as if they got that information directly from your character. It is also considered rude to tell someone how to have their character react, which often causes issues between players and characters alike.
-Power Playing
Power playing is similar to god-modding, but actually a bit worse. Power playing occurs when one person decides to control someone else's character-- not cool. The only situation when this is acceptable is if the other person consents to something like a death, or if they ask you to take over your character. If that's the case, try to let a Moderator or Admin know, so that they don't become concerned.
- So Now I'm in a Roleplay, Now What?
Here on Anchorless Tails, we request that you try to be active every day, or at least three times a week. This keeps the roleplay flowing, and no one likes to wait around for one person to reply.
Final Notes -
Image Rules-
Images, a big part of your roleplaying form!
For posting images, there are some very important things to know to protect you, and Anchorless Tails.
Firstly, no Google images are allowed. Allowed websites include deviantART and Tumblr. With Tumblr, a screenshot or general proof of the photographer's permission is required, or it will be taken down. With deviantART, the link to the page of rules for the artist is sufficient, along with credits on the image like this: Image: www.artistname.deviantart.com and then your name, like this: knightindustries@anchorlesstails.com
So now you know everything you need to know about Anchorless Tails! If you have any other questions, feel free to let any Staff members know.
